Police Appeal To Locate Girl Missing From Lakemba 14 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's southwest.

Nurbahar Shukur, aged 16, was last seen in Lakemba about 12pm yesterday (Saturday 13 September 2025).

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police have concerns for her welfare.

Nurbahar is described as being of Indian / Sub-Continental appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build, with brown shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing a brown dress, black pants and carrying a black backpack.

Nurbahar is known to frequent the Lakemba, Punchbowl, Kingsgrove and Wiley Park areas.
