Police Appeal To Locate Girl Missing From Penrith 9 October

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's west.

Lyriq Ruddell, aged 12, was last seen in Penrith about 9am on Tuesday 7 October 2025.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and inquiries commenced to locate her.

Police and family hold concerns for Lyriq's welfare as she lives with a number of health conditions.

Lyriq is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160cm tall, thin build, brown eyes with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper with the word GEEDUP written in purple across the shoulders and blue jeans.

Lyriq is known to frequent the Penrith, Mt Druitt and Newcastle areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Penrith Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
