Police appeal to locate girl missing from Albury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the NSW-Victoria border.

Amba Bailey, aged 15, was last seen in a shopping centre in Kiewa St, Albury, 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 December 2022).

When family could not locate her or contact her, she was reported missing to officers from Murray River Police District, who commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Amba is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 165-170cm tall, of thin build, with blonde hair and hazel eyes.

She is known to frequent the Albury and Wodonga areas.

Anyone who sees Amba or has any information regarding her location is urged to contact Albury police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
