Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing near Tamworth.
Mia Pengilley, aged 15, was last seen leaving a home in Mitchell Street, Westdale, yesterday (Sunday 13 November 2022).
When she failed to return home and loved ones could not get in contact with her, family reported her missing to Oxley Police District today (Monday 14 November 2022), and officers commenced inquiries to locate Mia.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age and a medical condition that requires treatment.
Mia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, and with light brown hair.
