Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the Newcastle area.
Christopher Boyd, aged 56, was last seen at Waratah about 8.30am yesterday (Saturday 9 August 2025).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Newcastle City Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Christopher's welfare as his disappearance is out of character and he lives with a number of medical conditions.
Christopher is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, with a slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown-coloured eyes.
He was last seen wearing a dark green parka and a pink polo shirt.
Christopher is known to walk around Waratah, Kotara and Broadmeadow areas.
