Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Blackbutt

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Lake Illawarra

Chadi Hadad, aged 43, was last seen on Glider Avenue, Blackbutt, about 11.30pm on Saturday 25 October 2025.

When he was unable to be located or contacted officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Chadi's welfare.

Chadi is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with short black and grey hair and black moustache.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and maroon shorts.

Chadi may be driving a dark blue Kia Sportage or a silver Mitsubishi Lancer.

Chadi is known to frequent the Illawarra and Sydney areas.
