Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Concord 28 November

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's southwest.

Richard Hannah, aged 61, was last seen on Excelsior Street, Concord on Thursday 23 October 2025.

When family could not locate or contact him, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified on Monday (24 November 2025) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is of out character.

Richard is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm, medium build, with thinning grey hair and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a cap, shirt, shorts and shoes.

He may be driving an orange Suzuki van with NSW registration BR21CT.

He is believed to frequent the Concord area; however, he is a known backpacker and moves around frequently.
