Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Parramatta 14 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

Xinmin Zhang, aged 73, was last seen on Brown Street, Parramatta, about 2.30pm today (Wednesday 14 January 2026).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Parramatta City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Xinmin's welfare as he lives with dementia.

Xinmin is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair and facial hair.

He is known to frequent the North Parramatta area.

Anyone who sees Xinmin is urged to contact Parramatta Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
