Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north west overnight.
Oei Ng Tjiooan, aged 78, is believed to have left a home on Michael Street, Tallawong, about 1.30am (Wednesday 8 April 2026).
Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were notified and commenced patrols of the area with family; however, he has not been located.
Oei lives with dementia and police, and his family hold concerns for his welfare.
Oei is described as being of Asian appearance, about 150cm-160cm tall, of thin build, and short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, light coloured trousers and sandals.
Anyone in the area who may have seen Oei is urged to contact police. Local residents are also urged to check their properties.
