Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Panania 5 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's southwest.

Joel Viviewsby, aged 55, was last seen about 3.40pm on Child Street, Panania, on Wednesday 29 April 2026.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified yesterday (Monday 4 May 2026) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and his family have concerns for his welfare.

Joel is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with grey hair and unshaven face.

He is known to frequent the Revesby and Panania areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
