Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.
Balvir Poonia, aged 63, was last seen on Waterside Crescent, Fairfield about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 9 July 2026).
When he was unable to be located, officers attached Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.
Balvir is described as being of Indian/Sub-continental appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with grey hair and a long grey beard.
He was last seen wearing a maroon turban, blue jacket, grey pyjamas and black Sketcher shoes.
Blavir is known to frequent the Waterside Crescent Reserve and Fairfield area.
