Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's south-west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney's south-west.

Asad Ali, aged 62, was last seen at Auburn Central Business District, about 11am today (Monday 1 March 2021).

When he failed to return home, officers from Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police have concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition.

Asad is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 170cm tall with grey facial hair and about 87kg.

He was last seen wearing a plain green shirt, grey tracksuit pants with a blue stripe and possibly wearing a grey jumper with "Chicago 37" written across the front. He was last seen carrying a red back pack.
