Police appeal to locate man missing from Stanmore

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

William Wray Brien, aged 72, was last seen on Saturday (20 March 2021) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital about 11am.

He was reported missing to officers from Inner West Police Area Command yesterday (Sunday 21 March 2021) when he failed to return to his home on Stanmore Road, Stanmore.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to medical conditions that require treatment.

William is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 180cm-185cm tall, of thin build, with dark grey hair and glasses.

He was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved jumper, light brown pants, dark brown thongs and was carrying a blue material 'Aldi' shopping bag and possibly an umbrella.

Mr Brien may appear frail and walks slowly with a limp.
