Police appeal to locate man missing from Armidale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's north.

Carl Haines, aged 22, was last seen at a service station on Queen Elizabeth Drive, Armidale, on Friday 15 April 2022.

When he couldn't be contacted by his family, officers from New England Police District were notified on Sunday 17 April 2022 and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Carl as his disappearance is out of character.

Carl is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of thin build, approximately 170cm tall, with a fair complexion, red hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a maroon long-sleeve t-shirt and a light-coloured cap.
