Police appeal to locate man missing from Gunnedah

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's north-west.

Robert Eyre, aged 55, was last seen on Cobbadah Crescent, Gunnedah, about 6pm on Sunday (12 February 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of solid build, with short greying hair and unshaven. He has a tribal tattoo on his right arm from the shoulder to the elbow.

He was last seen wearing shorts, t-shirt and thongs.

Robert is known to frequent Porcupine Lookout, Gunnedah and the Port Macquarie area.
