Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Penrith.
Raymond 'John' Wilkin, aged 83, was last seen at an aged care home on Village Crescent, Penrith, about 6.30pm today (Friday 29 October 2021).
After failing to locate him later that evening, staff reported John missing, and officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate him.
Family and police hold concerns for John's welfare as he lives with dementia and does not have access to money or a mobile phone.
John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 182cm tall, of slim build, with short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing dark trousers, a dark long shirt, a red vest and a scarf.
