Police Appeal To Locate Man Missing From Sefton 19 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney's south west.

Samim Abadi, aged 20, was last seen at Sefton train station about 5.20pm on Wednesday 17 September 2025.

When he could not be located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare.

Samim is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 180cm tall with thin build, black hair with blond tips and a moustache.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black cargo pants, and was carrying a black sling bag.

Samim is known to frequent the Sefton area.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
