Police appeal to locate man missing from Wagga Wagga 10 December

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's south.

Andrew Jones, aged 53, was last seen near Wagga Wagga Train Station about 2.15am on Thursday (8 December 2022).

When Andrew could not be contacted, officers attached to Riverina Police District were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Andrew's welfare.

Andrew is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 182cm tall, of large build, short grey hair and moustache.

He was last seen wearing a black zip-up hooded jacket, with white stripes down the sleeves, and light blue jeans.

Andrew is known to frequent the Sydney CBD, South Gundagai, Eurongilly as well as Gungahlin in the ACT.

Anyone with information on Andrew's whereabouts is urged to contact Cootamundra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
