Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Newcastle area.
Graham Burton, aged 64, was last seen leaving a hospital on Edith Street, Waratah, about 6.30am today (Sunday 17 August 2025).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Graham's welfare as he lives with dementia and is currently being treated for injuries.
Graham is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of a large build, with grey hair.
He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and a black jumper with a 'Bundaberg Rum' logo on the front. He may also be wearing green shorts with yellow stripes.
