Police Appeal To Locate Man With Dementia - Bexley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney's south.

John De Paoli, aged 79, was last seen on Forest Road, Bexley, about 3.05pm today (Tuesday 6 January 2026).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for John's welfare as he lives with dementia.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall with medium build, white hair and no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black top and grey shorts.

John is known to frequent Hurstville and Bexley.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call St George police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
