Police appeal to locate missing boy at Port Macquarie

Police are appealing for public assistance as concerns are held for the welfare of a boy missing from the state's Mid North Coast.

Mirakye Walker, aged 5, was last seen leaving a home on Friar Close, Port Macquarie, in the company of two family members about 7.30am on Wednesday (30 November 2022).

It's believed the boy is travelling with the two adults, a 31-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man.

When relatives could not locate him, officers from Mid North Coast Police District were notified and have commenced extensive inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Mirakye's welfare due to his age.

Mirakye is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, between 90cm-100cm tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators believe the boy may be in the Port Macquarie or Grafton areas.
