Police appeal to locate missing boy - Kogarah

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's south.

Xavier Yang, aged 8, was last seen at his unit on Presidents Avenue, Kogarah, about 11am today (Saturday 19 February 2022).

Xavier was reported missing to officers from St George Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Xavier is described as being of Asian appearance, thin build, with black hair. He is possibly wearing a light-coloured jumper, navy-blue shirt with white stripes, and underwear or small shorts.
