Police Appeal To Locate Missing Girl At Auburn

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the Western Sydney area.

Maryam Khan, aged 12, was last seen at a bookstore on Auburn Road, Auburn, about 9.50pm yesterday (Thursday 5 March 2026).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Maryam's welfare due to her age.

Maryam is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 160-165cm tall, of medium build, with long curly dark brown hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing an all-black body and head covering hijab, with white Converse shoes, and a green cross body bag.

Anyone who sees Maryam is urged to contact Auburn Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
