Police appeal to locate missing girl - Inner West PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Jaida Mantes, aged 14, was last seen in Canterbury, about 12pm yesterday (Friday 10 November 2023).

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Inquiries have established that she may have been in the Hurlstone Park area about 11.55pm (Friday 10 November 2023).

Police and family hold concerns for Jaida's welfare due to her young age.

Jaida is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160cm, slim build, fair skin, brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper with grey trackpants.

Jaida is known to frequent the Inner West, Canterbury and Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information into Jaida's whereabouts is urged to contact Newtown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
