Police appeal to locate missing man at Camperdown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's Inner West.

John Masters-Brown, aged 90, was last seen about 11.20am today (Saturday 18 March 2023), at a hospital on Missenden Road, Camperdown

He was reported missing to officers from Inner West Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare because of his age and due to him living with dementia.

John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm – 175cm height, thin build, green eyes, a grey beard and long white hair in a bun. He was last seen wearing a blue turtleneck sweater, green pants, black runners and holding a yellow JB HI FI bag and uses a crutch in his right hand.

It is believed he may still be in the Camperdown area.

Anyone who may have seen John or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
