Police appeal to locate missing man at Lake Illawarra 30 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing south of Sydney.

Mr Janus Le Blanc, aged 42, was last seen leaving a premises in Albion Park about 11.30am on Thursday (28 July 2022).

When he could not be contacted by family, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified yesterday (Friday 30 July 2022) of his disappearance who immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Janus's whereabouts.

He is described as being of African appearance, about 180cm tall, medium build and has short brown hair.

It is not known what Janus was wearing when last seen.

Janus maybe driving a white 2001 Subaru Liberty bearing NSW registration BG20XK.

He is known to frequent the Illawarra region and surrounding areas.

Anyone who has seen or heard from Janus, or may know of his whereabouts, is urged to contact Lake Illawarra Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
