Police appeal to locate missing man at Randwick

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's east.

Timos Kontos, aged 53, was last seen on Botany Street, Randwick, on Sunday night (22 January 2023).

When he failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Timos's welfare as he requires medication.

He is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 190cm tall, of solid build, with grey and black hair. He has a distinctive lion tattoo on his left arm.

Timos is known to frequent the Wynyard, Circular Quay and Bondi areas.
