Police appeal to locate missing man - Campsie

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Campsie area.

Mr Yong Lee, aged 81, was last seen inside his room at an aged-care facility on Albert Street, Campsie, about 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 13 July 2022).

When he was unable to be located a short time later, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family members hold serious concerns for Mr Lee's welfare due to his age, the cold temperatures experienced overnight and several medical conditions.

Mr Lee is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with thin grey hair, and grey facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black top.

He is known to frequent the Strathfield CBD and nearby railway stations.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Lee is urged to contact police immediately.
