Police Appeal To Locate Missing Man From Taree

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the states mid north coast.

Leon Davies, aged 35, last made phone contact with a family member on Monday 21 July 2025 and has not been able to be contacted since.

Officers attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified yesterday (Friday 25 July 2025) of his disappearance and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Inquiries have established that he may have been in the Taree CBD on Thursday (24 July 2025) morning.

He maybe driving a 2009 white Ford Ranger single cab utility with silver bulbar and spot lights, light bar on the roof line and a silver aluminium tray containing three silver tool boxes on the tray. The vehicle has a Queensland registration of 655-IT2.

There are serious concerns for Leon's welfare.

Leon is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, thin build with short brown hair.

It is not known what he maybe wearing.

Leon is known to frequent the Taree, Port Macquarie, Lake Cathie and North Haven areas.
