Police appeal to locate missing man in Sydney's west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.

James Herbert, 26, was last seen at his workplace on Hinxman Road, Castlereagh, about 5.30pm on Tuesday 17 January 2023.

He was reported missing to officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command on Saturday (21 January 2023) when he could not be contacted or located.

Police and family have concerns for James's welfare as his behaviour is said to be out of character and he has a medical condition that requires medication.

James is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm -170cm tall, of medium build, with dark blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, shorts and thongs.

James is believed to frequent the Blacktown and Mt Druitt areas.
