Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.
John Woods, aged 71, was last seen at Westmead Hospital about 4.40am today (Monday 10 October 2022).
When he could not be located, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Concerns are held for his welfare as he lives with dementia and other medical conditions.
John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 155cm tall, of medium build, blond and grey hair and green eyes.
He was last seen wearing his glasses, dark blue shorts and a dark blue jumper with red and white stripes on the sleeves.
Anyone who may have seen John, or who may know of his whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
