Police appeal to locate missing person - Caringabh

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sutherland Shire region.

David Wheeler, aged 44, was last seen leaving a hospital in Kareena Road, Caringbah, about 7pm on Monday (3 July 2023).

When he failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of a medium build, between 170cm to 175cm tall, with balding grey hair.

David was last seen wearing a dark grey tracksuit pants, hospital gown and joggers.

He is known to frequent the Miranda and Caringbah areas.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact Sutherland Shire Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 immediately.
