Police appeal to locate missing sisters from Sydney's west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two missing teenage sisters from Sydney's west.

Emily Pearce-Burns, aged 13, was last seen in Marsden Park about 2am on Sunday (18 September 2022). Her 14-year-old sister Ella was also last seen in Marsden Park about 4pm yesterday (Monday 19 September 2022).

When they could not be contacted by their carers, officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command were subsequently notified and commenced inquiries to locate them.

Due to their ages police hold serious concerns for their welfare.

Ella is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 140cm, thin build and has long brown-blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a grey jumper and black pants.

Emily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 140cm, thin build and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black track pants and white shoes.

The girls are known to frequent the Mt Druitt, Blacktown, Fairfield and Liverpool areas.

They may also be using the rail network.

Anyone who may have seen, or who has knowledge of their whereabouts, is urged to contact Mt Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
