Police Appeal To Locate Missing Teen From Corowa

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the states south.

Ida Jones, aged 14, was last seen in Corowa, about 6pm on Saturday (8 August 2026).

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified today (Monday 10 August 2026) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Ida is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of solid build, long dark brown hair, and a nose ring.

She was last seen wearing black hoodie, black trackpants, black TN shoe, and carrying a black backpack.

She is known to frequent the Corowa, Wahgunyah CBD, and West Albury areas.
