Police appeal to locate missing teenage boy - Fairfield City PAC

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's west.

Neil Kumar – aged 16 – was last seen at a home at Charles Street, Smithfield, about 6am on Thursday (21 October 2021).

He was reported missing to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command later that day, when he failed to return home as planned.

Police and family have serious concerns for Neil as his disappearance is out of character.

Initial inquiries indicate Neil was in the vicinity of Stocklands Mall at Wetherill Park on Thursday afternoon.

Neil is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a light-blue hooded jumper, dark blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about Neil's whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
