Police appeal to locate missing woman at Wollongong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Wollongong area.

Mary Bourke, age 76, was last seen about 3pm today (Friday 2 October 2020), at her home on Jacaranda Avenue in Figtree.

Officers attached to Wollongong Police District commenced an investigation into her whereabouts when she failed to return home.

Mary is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build, with short grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a light blue jumper with a white shirt underneath, grey socks, ¾ pants, and wearing a medi-alert bracelet.

Mary is known to travel to Carters Lane, Towradgi.

Police and her family have concerns for her well-being due to her age and an existing medical condition.
