Police appeal to locate missing woman - Monaro

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state's south.

Heidi Groom, aged 53, was last seen in Berridale about 7.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 9 January 2024).

When family were unable to contact her, officers attached to Monaro Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Heidi's welfare due to medical concerns and her disappearance being out of character.

Heidi is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, medium build and short brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue singlet, black shorts, reading glasses and running shoes.

Heidi is known to frequent the Berridale and Monaro areas and was last seen driving a white Toyota FJ Cruiser, with NSW registration HWG060.

Anyone with information into Heidi's whereabouts is urged to contact Monaro police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
