Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's Inner West.
Larayah Kumar, aged 16, was last seen on Wilson Street, Newtown about 11.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 16 July 2025).
When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield City Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Larayah is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 180cm tall, of thin build, with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She has a nose piercing on her left nostril and wears braces.
She was last seen wearing a black cap, white hoodie with a black jersey on top, black wash jeans, black and white "Vans" shoes and carrying a white shoulder bag.
She is known to use the Leichardt, Newtown, Campbelltown, Campsie, Bankstown areas.
