Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the state's south.
Ameriah Stonham, aged 13, was last seen on Cleveland Road, Dapto, about 8.30am today (Wednesday 6 August 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and as she lives with medical conditions.
Ameriah is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, of thin build with shoulder length ash blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, light blue denim shorts, white shoes and carrying a brown diamond shaped purse.
She is known to frequent the Dapto, Wollongong and Sydney CBD areas.
