Police appeal to locate teenage boy missing from Doonside

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing from Sydney's west.

Brayden Hopwood, aged 13, was last seen at a home on Wilkie Crescent, Doonside, about 2.30pm on Sunday 10 July 2022.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were notified he was missing and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Brayden is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 150cm – 160cm tall, of thin build, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He also has a scar on the left side of his face.

Brayden was last seen wearing a blue nike jumper with yellow zippers, grey nike track pants and black asics shoes.

He is known to frequent the Doonside, Blacktown and Mt Druitt areas.
