Police appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Sydney's western suburbs

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's western suburbs.

Amelia Harkness, aged 14, was last seen at home in Schofields, about 11pm yesterday (Saturday 8 October 2022).

When Amelia failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers from the Riverstone Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Concerns are held for Amelia's welfare due to her age.

Amelia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with long blonde hair, about 160cm tall and of thin build.

She was last seen wearing a white jumper and blue jeans.

Anyone who has information on Amelia's whereabouts is urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
