Police appeal to locate woman missing

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing woman from Sydney's west.

Ayak Tong, aged 19, was last seen in Erskine Park about 1pm yesterday (Friday 30 September 2022).

When she failed to return home, officers from Nepean Police Area Command were notified who immediately commenced inquiries to locate her.

Inquires have established that she may have been in the Macquarie Park area about 1.45am today (Saturday 1 October 2022).

Police and family members hold serious concerns for Ayak's welfare.

Ayak is described as being of African appearance, 165cm tall, with a thin build, black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

It is not known what she was wearing but she does have nose piercings and multiple ear piercings. Ayak may also be in possession of a black backpack and a blonde wig.

Ayak is known to frequent the St Mary and Ryde areas and may be travelling on the rail network.
