Police Appeal To Locate Woman Missing From Camperdown 8 June

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman reported missing from Sydney's inner west.

Rania El Helo, aged 51, was last seen on Brodrick Street, Camperdown about 3.40pm today (Monday 8 June 2026).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Rania is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, 160cm to 170cm tall with a large build, black/grey curly hair, black eyes and non-English speaking.

She was last seen wearing a dark navy-blue long-sleeved jacket with white stripes down the side, grey scarf, black dress and open toe sandals.

Rania is known to frequent the Camperdown and Campsie areas.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Newtown police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
