Police appeal to locate woman missing from Kings Cross

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Kings Cross.

Akira Khanthavarakul, aged 36, was last seen in Kings Cross in December 2021.

When family was unable to contact her, she was reported missing to police last Saturday (21 May 2022), and officers from Sydney City Police Area Command commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Akira as this is considered out of character.

Akira is a Thai national and is described as being about 150cm tall, of thin build, with long black hair, and brown eyes. It is not known what she was wearing at the time.
