Police appeal to locate woman missing from Flemington

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's south west.

Qianping Meng, aged 68, was last seen at Flemington Markets on Parramatta Road at Homebush West, about 2.30pm yesterday (Sunday 12 March 2023).

She was reported missing to officers from Auburn Police Area Command when she could not be located.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare as she lives with dementia and may appear disorientated.

Qianping is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build with brown eyes and short black hair.

She was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket and brown shoes. She is known to frequent the areas of Lidcombe, including Church and Delhi Street.

Anyone who may have information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Auburn Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
