Police appeal to locate woman missing from Vaucluse

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's east.

Antonia Alafaci, aged 76, was last seen leaving her home on Bell Street, Vaucluse about 1pm yesterday (Wednesday 27 May 2020), to go for a walk.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were later notified when she failed to return home.

Despite an extensive search of the area, Mrs Alafaci has not been seen or heard from since. Her family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and a pre-existing medical condition.

Mrs Alafaci's is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build, and short grey hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and pants and carrying a brown handbag.

She may have travelled to Bondi Junction or Sydney CBD by bus.
