Police appeal to locate youth missing - South Coogee

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney's east.

Liam Badger, aged 12, was last seen leaving his home on Jensen Place, South Coogee, about 7pm yesterday (Friday 17 June 2022).

He was reported missing to officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command, who have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to a medical condition and his age.

Liam is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build with short black hair.

At the time he was wearing grey tracksuit pants, a white jumper and a grey t-shirt.

Police believe he may have travelled to, and be in the Gosford area.
