Northern Territory Police and Northern Territory Emergency Services members are currently conducting searches east of the Timber Creek Airstrip for a missing Gyrocopter.
The Gyrocopter, containing a 40-year-old male pilot, left Timber Creek Airstrip around 9:30am yesterday. Police were contacted when the aircraft failed to arrive at Stapleton at the scheduled time of 1:00pm.
Air and land searches continue in attempts to locate the aircraft and the pilot.
