Police are currently searching for missing Preston man Kiriakos Akritidis.
The 85-year-old was last seen earlier today at his Malpas Street home and is believed to have gone for a walk.
Police and family members hold concerns for Kiriakos due to a medical condition and the length of time he has been missing.
An image of Kiriakos has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
He is described as about 165cm tall, balding and last seen wearing dark brown slacks, bright blue jumper and black jacket.
Anyone who sees Kiriakos or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Northcote Police Station on 9430 0200.
