Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Jan Velezis.
The 80-year-old was last seen getting out of a taxi at the corner of Guildford Road and Vincent Street in Surrey Hills about 2.55pm.
Jan was wearing a grey woollen coat, denim jeans, flat black ankle boots, white jumper and was carrying a black bag.
Police and family have concerns for her welfare due to medical conditions including dementia.
Police have released an image of Jan in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Jan is urged to contact Boroondara Police Station on 8851 1111.
